Recente opdrachtgevers

The IBR is involved in construction law. Construction law is a very broad field of law and includes both public law and private law. Private construction law is mainly contract law (contracting work, UAV, UAV-GC, DNR, construction team, alliance) and procurement law. In addition to general administrative law under the General Administrative Law Act, public construction law also includes environmental law, within which spatial planning law, country policy, environmental law, environmental permits, etc.

Scientific research is conducted in various ways within the IBR. Theses are written. Articles are being written. Research is being commissioned by, for example, the national government into the possibilities of improving legislation or into the optimal application of legislation. Always independent and always with an eye for practice.

Construction law is broad and legislation is constantly changing. In the field of construction law, case law is constantly appearing at both European and national level. From both judges and arbitrators (for example the Construction Arbitration Board). The IBR follows all developments closely. Top speakers always take participants along with the latest developments that the professional should not miss and for which he must know the practical consequences.

The fact that construction law is broad and legislation is constantly changing also requires publications that are up to date and publications that disclose the consequences of new legislation and case law with sufficient depth. The IBR takes care of this by publishing the Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht (TBR), the weekly online notification of Actualiteiten Bouwrecht and an annual supply of manuals, practice books, explanations and manuals on all sorts of topics relating to the broad field of construction law.
